new slipper kits

Now to the men in your life Ladies! enough attention has been paid to womens slippers/pumps and not enough to the men .This time let us head just for the knitted versions but with an extra twist of  having a leather sole now these have been a long time in the design process and getting the copyright etc —–after the felted slipper saga all my work goes through copyright before being released and I recomend it to all knitters ,copying is rife especially now with the world getting small erand smaller and as a copier will even copy your way of pattern writing you are on a hiding to nothing trying to prove they have copied you–so be prepared.I have yet  to decide whether these are going out as kits or as patterns –watch this space

Some British Weather

So I needed a break, a short holiday–so where better than my chapel in the hills.It rained on day 1 and day2 day 3 and 4 were the same and now on day 6 it is horrendous horizontal rain and meanwhile I hear on the radio how London basks in temperatures of 30 degrees—what acrazy country we live in .Hay summer and here is so beautiful views from my windows and the reason I am here.

the first thing I saw this morning from my bed.Then whilst having breakfast and looking up the valley

Then looking towards the start of my garden here and the lovely Rowan trees which are very full of berries

And then  a nice picture of the grasses blowing in the wind if onky we had the sun as well oh well !!!!! dream on

Twilley’GORGEOUS’

Been using some differing yarns just recently and I have to say the Twilley Gorgeous is a great yarn with a lovely drape but holds your stitch pattern firm and the colours are good too–well done Twilley ,seems an age since I designed for them the ‘knit to felt’ kits usingFreedom.More colours in this range would be great maybe colours like theSincere organic cotton range .

New shop

So excited today sees the opening of the new online shop beautiful hand sewn and knitted babywear from the hands of myself and Emma my daughter.The stock is small at the moment but watch this space for more yummy baby things to come please come and visit and spread the word to your ‘Mummy’ friends.
