When you think of knitting festivals no doubt your mind goes to Woolfest or to Stitches certainly not to a small island off the Danish coast where in 1 weekend 6000 women arrived and 1100 were booked into classes.
I left on my long car journey to Denmark and my 1st nights stay in I sselburg worth was delightful hotel with beautiful garden

The  carder a very familiar site in a woollen mill  but this is a cotton mill using cotton from America and weaving for Europe .
 
 
the inside of a mill worker cottage could have been a home in that era in England.This cot was so sweet wonder where those babies are now that slept in this.
